Digital Media Analyst

JOB SUMMARY:

The Digital Analyst is responsible for campaign tracking, creating reporting dashboards, and using combination of data and experience to provide sound recommendations and strategy to our clients. The analyst is responsible for driving analytics efforts across digital mediums, including web, display, video, CTV/OTT, search, social, traditional media, and mobile apps.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate in the development of initial measurement strategies and tracking specifications
  • Analyze and interpret information from multiple data sources, identifying trends and evaluating results from media and creative testing.
  • Implement website tracking code and online media tracking tags with vendors and clients
  • Collaborate with agency employees and vendors to assist with data collection and pull reporting across multiple mediums
  • Support the development and application of digital measurement techniques, tools and metrics.
  • Identify opportunities to automate analysis and improve processes for efficiencies.
  • Strive to ensure that data provided by analytics tools and used in analysis is accurate and robust.
  • Use ad serving, analytics platforms, and vendor provided reporting to implement, analyze, optimize and report on Paid Media campaigns for clients across multiple verticals
  • Work with DMA and Media teams to develop marketing strategy for new campaigns
  • Monitor online display campaigns for peaks or drops in performance and provide temperature performance checks to vendors and media team on a consistent basis
  • Identify and investigate gaps in data capture and reporting
  • Complete and present weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, annual and ad hoc dashboards to internal and client stakeholders
  • Present reporting to both internal teams and clients
  • Understand client's business requirements and help design digital strategies, analysis, reporting and optimization approaches tailored to their needs
  • Implement automated media vendor reporting and media vendor and conversion tags upon campaign launches; audit tags before launch and metrics after launch to ensure accurate tracking
  • Stay current with client and industry trends and benchmarks
  • Take on any additional projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Work experience related to marketing or advertising.

· A sound understanding of the interactive space and methods used to measure interactive advertising, including web analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and SEMRush.

· 2-5 years experience in a related analyst role

· Agency experience preferred

· A/B testing implementation and reporting experience preferred

· Bachelors' Degree required

· Previously worked with business intelligence/visualization tools such as Datorama, Looker, Data Studio, or Tableau

· Expert user of Microsoft Excel
